Family Doctors are part of our Family Health Organization

Your Family Doctor at HealthSense Medical is part of our Family Health Organization. This means you’ll get the time you need with your doctor for quality health care, always.

If your doctor is away due to vacation or another reason, you’ll always be able to get an appointment with another doctor in the Family Health Group, ensuring your continuity of care.

Chronic Illnesses

44% of Canadians over the age of 20 live with a chronic illness.

Health Canada lists High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Arthritis, Respiratory illnesses such as Asthma, Osteoporosis, Dementia and Mental Illness, as the top chronic diseases facing Canadians today.

You need special care if you live with a chronic illness. Your doctor at HealthSense Medical will help you:

  • manage your day-to-day health

  • provide access to tests and specialists when needed

  • treat acute flare-ups

  • address your concerns

And, because we have a pharmacy on-site, your doctor and pharmacist can work hand-in-hand to make sure your medications and regimen are optimized for the best possible health outcomes.

Tests & Referrals

At certain times, your doctor may require diagnostic testing such as:

  • Blood-work

  • X-rays

  • Ultrasounds

  • MRIs

  • CT scans

  • ECGs (performed on-site)

  • Other

As needed, your doctor may provide referrals to specialists, and will continue to be accessible for regular follow-ups, so you get the best healthcare possible.

Injuries & Motor Vehicle Accidents

Do you have an injury due to sports, a workplace accident or motor-vehicle accident?

Come in to see your doctor and get treated right away. Our doctors will conduct an assessment of your injury. You’ll also get a treatment plan that may include rest, rehab, prescription medications, requisitions for x-rays or other tests, or even a referral to a specialist.

Don’t delay when you have an injury. Early assessment and treatment can prevent long-term problems.
